We are pleased to share with you a short presentation where you will find the key figures of 2019. More specifically, the number of projects implemented and the number of people the Foundation has assisted during the year.
In early 2020, the Coronavirus pandemic reached Africa and the Middle East severely impacting vulnerable populations. The Foundation is closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on all of its ongoing projects, and engaging with NGOs in order to address unexpected difficulties. The organisations we are funding have been transparent, proactive and innovative in finding solutions ensuring that the beneficiaries’ welfare is preserved and that planned project activities continue as best they could. We take this opportunity to showcase two such projects, in Zambia and in Lebanon with the help of two short videos.
To conclude, we have a final video on a project in Morocco that ended in 2019, and that was visited by a Foundation board member.
