The Addax and Oryx Foundation will be providing funding to the British charity Amala, for a project that will equip 100 young refugee women, aged 16-25, from the South Sudanese, Ugandan, and Congolese refugee community in Kampala, Uganda, with skills and resources to create a way out of poverty and foster sustainable development.

Building on a previous project with Flying Kites, the Foundation will be supporting a new project that will expand the reach of the Flying Kites School Network’s investments in technology and digital literacy for Kenyan teachers.

For the second time, the Foundation will be partnering with Raising The Village for a new cluster of villages, the Nyamabare Cluster in Uganda. The project will increase household incomes, facilitate civic engagement and accelerate socioeconomic development.

Finally, the Sonder project will receive support from the Foundation to empower impoverished communities by supporting the secondary school education of 50 students from national and District Schools from the Kasungu District in Malawi.
