Three new projects validated in September and December 2017

The Addax and Oryx Foundation granted funding for three new projects at its September and December Board meetings.

The Cameroonian NGO Community Action for Development (CAD) will receive funding from the Foundation to enhance food production, nutrition and income security amongst underprivileged farmers in Bangen, in the south-west region of Cameroon, through the development of agro-ecological systems.

Mali Health will receive funding for a project aiming to offer 120 women the skills and resources to launch cooperatives, so that they can pay for basic services, such as health and education, for themselves and their children. 

The International Refugee Trust will receive funding for a 3-year project aiming to sustainably improve the social and economic status of 540 rural farming households in the Maracha District of West Nile sub-region in northern Uganda, enabling them to attain self-sufficiency.
