Five new projects approved in June 2024

The Addax and Oryx Foundation approved funding for five new projects at its June 2025 Board meeting.

The Addax and Oryx Foundation will be providing funding to Circleg for a project in Uganda, aiming to improve the lives and outcomes of 50 low income lower limb amputees, who currently do not have access to appropriate care, with long term high quality prosthetic care.

The Lebanese NGO Code Brave will be supported for a project that will enable two schools to level up their tech education offering through training and coaching for school teachers on delivering Coding, Robotics and AI classes for 240 disadvantaged children aged 11-14.

The Foundation is renewing its support to CREATE! for a project that aims to sustainably improve the health, nutrition and livelihoods of two new rural Senegalese communities using environmentally appropriate technology.

One Village Partners will be receiving funding for the first time from the Foundation for a project in Sierra Leone that will train 1,000 women in basic financial literacy, household financial management, effective saving techniques, and business skills, including conducting market surveys and calculating profit.

And finally, the Foundation is proving funding to the Tsavo Trust for the refurbishment of the Nthunguni Dispensary in the Kamungi Conservancy in Southern Kenya.
